Integrative Mental Health Consultant
Jennie BREWER, MD
Jennie’s work centers on the transformative periods that challenge our assumptions about who we are and how we want to live.
She offers consultation with physicians and other health professionals seeking greater alignment and authenticity in their work, and supports individuals navigating identity-level transitions related to career, relationships, health, spirituality, and personal growth.
My Services
Guidance for clinicians who sense they have more to offer than the current healthcare model allows, and who seek to deepen patient connection while practicing in greater alignment with their own values and gifts.
Educational offerings that bridge clinical knowledge, lived experience, and personal growth—exploring relationships, healing, identity, and the factors that shape human flourishing. Live webinars, recorded courses, speaking engagements, and curriculum development.
Guidance for individuals exploring healing beyond symptom reduction, integrating medical knowledge with a deeper examination of identity, relationships, purpose, and personal transformation.
About Jennie
Jennie Brewer is a board-certified physician in both Family Medicine and Psychiatry, having completed her medical degree at University of Michigan and dual residency at UC San Diego. After years of working with individuals facing treatment-resistant mental health conditions, she began exploring a broader understanding of healing beyond conventional approaches alone.
Today, her work bridges clinical expertise with more integrative, human-centered perspectives on mental health and healing. Drawing from both medical training and holistic modalities, Jennie supports clinicians, healthcare systems, and individuals seeking a more grounded path forward.
What’s on Her Desk
A worn copy of Mary Oliver’s “Wild Geese.”
A note on Goddess Saraswati
“She who helps realize the essence of self.”
The Reiki prayer.
A bright little sun with cheerful rays.
Nancy McWilliams’ Psychoanalytic Diagnosis.
A Toni Morrison quote:
“As you enter positions of trust and power, dream a little before you think.”
Somehow, for Jennie, these all fit together.
